International debut at AGITPROP

From 2 – 4 July AGITPROP film festival goes live for the first time in Manila, Philippines. Sarawak Gone will debut there.

Sarawak Gone is an open licensed micro-docs series raising awareness to the persistent decline of indigenous life and culture in Sarawak, Malaysia. The series is presented by the Australian producer and media artist, Andrew Garton.

Sarawak Gone DVD

Sarawak Gone is available on DVD for AUD$18 (includes postage and handling any where). Or download the series which is licensed to copy and share for non-profit purposes (i.e. schools, community organisations, advocacy groups).

Sarawak Gone is a micro-docs series raising awareness to the persistent decline of indigenous life and culture in Sarawak, the native land titles and human rights that remain at stake and the rapidly diminishing habitats that remain.

Micro-Docs are…

Micro-docs are 5 - 10 minute documentaries designed for online distribution, portable media devices and laptop cinematic screening events. They are also easily programmed as "fillers" for commercial and community broadcast.

Telling the story…

Sarawak Gone, produced with accompanying materials for exhibition and audio-visual installation, tells the stories of Sarawak's forest communities through multiple mediums to the widest possible audience.
